Playdate with Tabitha

Here Tabitha's mom told her to give Zachary a hug - she went for it but he wasn't too sure about it!

But by the end they were best buds. :)

Mmmm, Uncle Jim's Ribs!

I didn't get to witness this particular dinner, but I'm told he cleaned the bone...

Big boy haircut

Two jelly beans on a flower plate!

That is what I heard first thing every morning for about three weeks from the time Zach discovered the Jelly Belly's my boss gave me for Christmas until the time they were gone! (Two, eleven, what's the difference?) :)

More random phone pictures

This is me and Zachary at Jiffy Lube the day before Thanksgiving. We were getting the oil changed for our trip to the farm so we took this picture to send to Daddy who was still at work. He was eating yogurt that I had in my lunch bag.

Here we are at a local park - I love the look on his face!

This is the Sunday before New Year's when we went to see the Biscuit Brothers live at the Scottish Rite Children's theater. They had a "countdown to noon" complete with hats and noisemakers. Zachary didn't quite know what to think but we had a lot of fun and even got to talk to them afterward.

On the 31st we had a Mommy and Me day and went to the Children's museum. We parked at my office and went inside before we walked over to the museum. Afterward we went and visited Daddy at his office. I think Zach thought seeing our offices was much cooler than the museum! But he did have fun - he headed straight to the train table...

And they had lots of fun stuff to build and play with...

We finished at the big train table!

PJ update - now with pictures

So tonight I asked if he wanted to wear his Elmo pajamas and he said 'No! Tomorrow!' which is also his current thing. Anything he doesn't want to do is 'tomorrow!' He then proceeded to drag his stool from the bathroom and stand in his closet perusing his entire wardrobe, pulling shirts down one by one and then discarding them. He ended up wearing his Elmo bottoms and his new Thomas the Tank Engine shirt to bed.

Happy New Year!

My cousin LeeAnn turned 40 on New Year's Eve so we went to a party at her house. Since we knew we'd be out past Zach's bedtime, he just wore his pj's. We discovered that Zach really, really likes sparkling apple juice! He had a good time playing with the other kids, and we had a good time wishing LeeAnn a happy birthday.

Note that he is still wearing the Brobee pj's - last night he was all dressed in his new Elmo pajamas which he loved just the other night, but he starting crying for 'Robee jammies!' until I dug them out of the laundry. He is still wearing them. Is this what being 2 is all about? :)
