Piecemeal

I am getting behind - I have several large groups of photos I want to blog, including our July 4th weekend, my trip to Orlando with Zachary, and fingerpainting with Georgia, but when I start to do it I feel overwhelmed. So I will continue to post random pictures until I can get my act together! Here are some pictures Aunt Cynthia took of us yesterday with her new camera...

"One More Donut!"

That is officially Zachary's first three word phrase. His daddy is so proud. :)

San Diego - Denouement

On Friday, our last full day in San Diego, we spent the morning at the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla.

Zachary loved this little water table - we probably spent at least 45 minutes playing here. You used the panels to block up the current to create little pathways, then you would drop your boat in at the top and watch it navigate through. Finally a large school class showed up so I told him 'Okay, it's someone else's turn now, can you share?' and he turned to the kid next to him, gave him his boat, and walked away. I was astounded!

After a nap, we drove to Escondido to meet Charles's friend Danny and his family for dinner. They were having a classic car show so the streets were shut down and we just walked around and looked at cool old cars, then had a nice Mexican food dinner. I unfortunately took no pictures whatsoever on this night! But we had a really nice time and it was great to meet them.

And that was the end of our San Diego adventure - the next morning we loaded up and headed back to the airport, exhausted but happy.

Here we are back in Austin at the airport, waiting for Daddy to come around with the car. Zach is holding Duck, who he acquired at the zoo and who is now a sleeping necessity along with Monkey.

The End.

4th of July at the farm!

For the 4th of July weekend, we again went to Uncle Warren and Aunt Linda's farm. Zachary had a great time playing with his cousins, swimming, and driving the Mule. We had a full house of kids and dogs! And the most exciting development (for Mommy) was the addition of three horses, Honey, Lucky, and ??? (I am drawing a blank on the third horse's name!) . Anyway, without further ado...

I believe this weekend was the beginning of Zach's obsession with goggles...

Reid took this picture - he says I look like Superman. :)

Not too sure about the saddle.
The Hummer is fun though!

The Bunkhouse - this was the first time we all got to stay in there. We had a lot of fun!
